Refund & Cancellation.

This Refund & Cancellation Policy outlines the billing terms, subscription structures, cancellation guidelines, and refund mechanisms for B2B services provided by Klasso Technologies Private Limited (incorporation pending) ("Klasso") to educational institutions ("School"). This policy is designed to maintain compliance with Indian payment aggregator requirements (such as Razorpay) and to ensure transparent commercial relationships.

Section 01

Billing and Subscription Plans

Klasso subscriptions are billed on either a monthly or annual billing cycle, depending on the commercial proposal executed between Klasso and the School. Fees are calculated based on the selected tier (Starter, Growth, Enterprise, or Custom) and are subject to applicable GST in India.

• Paid Subscriptions: Billed in advance at the start of each billing cycle.
• Onboarding Fees: Non-refundable setup charges covering data migration and staff training (unless specifically waived in writing).
• Student Capacity: Tiers have specific limits. Exceeding student counts will result in prorated upgrade charges.

Section 02

Pilot Program Terms

For schools participating in our exclusive Pilot Program for the Academic Year 2027:

• First 3 Months Free: No subscription fees are collected during the initial three (3) months of the pilot period.
• Onboarding Waived: Onboarding and data migration setup costs are fully waived during this pilot period.
• No-Penalty Cancellation: Schools may cancel the pilot agreement at any time within the first 3 months with immediate effect and zero financial penalty.

Section 03

Cancellation Policy

Outside of the pilot program period, paid subscriptions can be cancelled under the following terms:

• Written Notice: The School must provide at least thirty (30) days written notice of cancellation via email to contactklasso@gmail.com.
• Access Retention: The School will retain full read-and-write access to the Klasso portal during the 30-day notice period.
• Data Export: Upon cancellation notice, the School's administrative team must download and export all student, parent, and fee records via CSV from the portal. Klasso will purge all active data within 30 days post-termination, in compliance with DPDP Act deletion requirements.

Section 04

Refund Policy

We maintain a strict, professional policy regarding refunds for enterprise software services:

• No Refund for Used Periods: Subscription fees are non-refundable for partial months or billing cycles already consumed or in progress.
• Annual Subscriptions: If an annual subscription is cancelled with proper notice, a prorated refund will be calculated for the remaining fully unconsumed months, subject to a 10% administrative cancellation fee.
• Exceptions (SLA Breach): In the event that Klasso fails to maintain the committed service availability (99.5% uptime excluding scheduled maintenance) for more than 48 consecutive hours, the School is eligible for a prorated service credit or refund for that billing period.

Section 05

Refund Processing and Timeline

All authorized refunds will be processed in the following manner:

• Original Source: Refunds are credited back to the original bank account, credit/debit card, or UPI account used during payment. We do not issue cash refunds.
• Processing Window: Once approved, the refund will be initiated by Klasso within two (2) working days.
• Bank Timelines: The payment aggregator (Razorpay) and receiving bank typically take five (5) to seven (7) working days to credit the amount back to the customer's account.
